Hole punches need to be in your tool box. So often problems with number plates and a host of other race day issues can be elegantly solved with even a cheap hole punch. I can’t count how many times I’ve wished to have one in my hand at just the right moment.
A cheap punch is ok but a good one is even better. I finally invested in a pair of serious iterations. I got a pair of long reach punches. 1/4″ and 1/8″. Very cool. Perfect for race number plates and a whole lot more.

There are even lots of fun shapes you can get if you like.
Anyway. Make sure you have some kind of hole punch in you race box.
These are nice. They can reach well into the center of a full size number plate.
