On my way to work this morning I passed a television or movie film crew on 18th Street near Valencia Street in the Mission District of San Francisco. They were busy setting up so I didn’t get a chance to talk to anyone about what they were specifically filming. Of course, I had to get some pics.
I love what goes on behind the scenes of film sets. So many special problems that need solving.
Here, I’m showing the Camera Sidecar from Weber’s Camera Vehicles. It’s a nice camera vehicle for very close quarters work, unlike the Pursuit Systems Porsche. The bike has seating for the driver, cameraman, director, and Sound. The sturdy platform has very solid removable rigging that can set up booms, lights, or full lay down. It has driver com and review and all kinds of power. Very cool stuff.
It’s also street legal.
