Intent
Machining head tubes from one peice has gotten really old. Plus, My current road bike needed a head tube too long for the process. A better way has to exist.
Process
- Press fit parts
- Clamp together during welding with copper heat sinks
- Silver braze fillet post weld.
Weigh In
The full system with Cane Creek 110 headset in place. Crazy light.
Oops!
Ruined a bearing by mistake during test fitting. Can't let that happen again.
