PVD Modular IS Head Tube

Intent

Machining head tubes from one peice has gotten really old. Plus, My current road bike needed a head tube too long for the process. A better way has to exist.

Process

  • Press fit parts
  • Clamp together during welding with copper heat sinks
  • Silver braze fillet post weld.

Oops!

Ruined a bearing by mistake during test fitting. Can't let that happen again.
