Repack to Rwanda

This is good.

From Repack to Rwanda: The Origins, Evolution, and Global Reach of the Mountain Bike.

From July 2012 to February 2013 an amazing exhibit of bicycles and their development was shown in the international terminal of the San Francisco International Airport Museum at (SFO). The curator of the show worked very closely with Joe Breeze and others to get things right and get access to the right people.

Word had spread about this show and how good it was. It covered Clunkers to V-10’s and everything in between. Thousands of people a day saw these bikes from all over the world. Norcal, bitches!

Sitting at Gestault Haus in Fairfax recently, I got to talking with my friend, the legendary, Jackie Phelan. She said that the exhibit was just about to close and it’s the last chance to get the free book. Book? Free?

The best thing about this exhibit, other than the attention to mountain biking, is the book that accompanies the show. Even better, the book is FREE. They even ship it for free. All you have to do is ask.

This is an amazing book. Even better for hardcore bike geeks. It’s got incredible photos and descriptions that put you into the mind of the builder and the riders. So cool.

Hello,

I would like to get a copy of the accompanying book from the exhibit,
“From Repack to Rwanda: The Origins, Evolution, and Global Reach of
the Mountain Bike”

I’m told it is fantastic and we could use a copy of it.

Thank you in advance,

Peter Verdone
