Specs
- 2008 Intense M6, Medium
- 8" travel front
- 10" travel rear
- IGCG-05 Guide Mount
- 8" front rotor
- 7" rear rotor
Gearing
The bike is currently geared with a 32 tooth chainring and an 11-32 9 speed cassette. This is so that I can actually (Ha! The pain.) ride the bike on some of my local trails. I will bring that up to 36 tooth chainring for chairlifting.
A 36 chainring is a little low for a real DH bike, but since I'm not racing I figure that the lower gear will help me quite a bit when traversing to fun trails away from the lifts.
Crank Length
I got a good deal at a local swap for some 175mm and 165mm Saint cranks (83mm BB). The 175mm cranks are just too long. I wish that I had some 170mm cranks to try. I'm sure that the 165mm cranks will be nice when I'm going big.
