Ron wrote this last night at midnight instead of eating dinner. Some things are more important than others.

I arrive at the parking lot reporting by phone to the other half of a MoRon....explaining to Mo, there's people everywhere. "Mo, gotta go".....In the parking lot I'm trying to count people. "Who are you? I ask this guy on a white singlespeed. He replies "Dan.... I saw this group forming in the parking lot, I normally ride solo but figured I'd join your group". Mike W (from the notorius "A" ride) pedals up. "Hey, looks like my group is riding Mill Valley tonight, I guess I'm riding with you guys"....WTF...Mikes a nice guy. This is getting out of control....

Russell, Craig, Pete, Dana (friend another Mike?), Karen, Jon, Eric, Scott, Ryan, Celia, Amy, Alan, Ron (me), Dan, and Mike W . I may have left someone out.

Ok, the route is explained to Pete and others (Jon/Craig, don't deny it)....The route: 5 Corners, Coaster Race, Lagunitas to Rock Springs Fireroad to Northside, up Eldridge, down International, Northside back to Rock Springs Fireroad...home.

After the Coaster Race, the group splinters slightly and I wait for the riders in the back so that we all make the turn UP Rock Springs TOGETHER. Pete leads the front group.....but guess what, they don't stop but continue around Lake Lagunitas ignoring the planned route. Could this deviation have been intentional....Pete? In any event, we were not aware of this as Amy, Celia and Karen led the charge up Rock Springs, along with Fuzzy and I. As we pedaled, it became apparent the front group did not go this way. "How could they be so far ahead" I wondered....

There is no question about it, climbing Rock Springs separates the Men from the Boys..............wait a minute...., I guess it separates the men from the women....no, that isn't rigtht either..hmmmm? oh well.....We finally join up with the front group halfway through Northside. They decided to climb Eldridge instead. We all continue on Northside to Eldridge. (back to Eldridge for them). At this point we say goodbye to Celia, Amy, Alan and Fuzzy. Furzzy, Celia and Amy finished up with their own ride. Alan?

The remaining riders finish the ride by climbing up Eldridge to the top. Ripped International, back to Northside and out Rock Springs. 10:30 pm...no dinner tonight.

Congrat to Karen who completed the ride. Pete is still out there as far as we know.
