The Yoyodyne (ER Racing) Quick Throttle

This is THE part to get for quick acceleration. $169 well spent. Some people try to get off cheap by spending $30 on throttle mods, but they will never get results like this - ever! If you want to get the absolute maximum out of your engine, this is the only thing that will do. I've tried the HRC throttle. It is nothing compared to this thing.

I set the throttle up at first with the largest drum. The gold, 56mm unit. It is totally nuts. It may be a bit much, but I am having fun with it for now. I will go to the 47mm drum if I decide that this is too much.

The crappiest thing about the ER Racing Throttle kit is the cables. The quality is good considering that they are Italian, but the center adjusters make proper cable routing almost impossible. I struggled for at least an hour with different setups to finally get to this one. It works fine, but the kink in the line is disconcerting. The extra adjustment is to accomidate all of the different drums and bikes. I wish they would figure a better way. Cable routing like this makes me sick.

To fit the throttle on my stock clip-ons, I had to trim 5mm off the end of the throttle tube. I replaced the stock grip to keep with the sleeper look that I like. I lubed the tube with some very fancy light grease that I keep on hand and
