Frame slider installation
The first order of business is to choose a quality delrin frame slider. I choose the Woodcraft units since they are the solid type and since they are fairly low profile. Woodcraft makes some very nice product, very well designed.
I use an intersecting laser to mark my drilling points on the fairing.
Stand the laser on a tripod.
Align the laser to intersect right on the center of the bolt. Make sure that you are level and at a right angle to the bike for this. Use a 2x4 and a square against the rear wheel if you need to get a reference.
Install the fairing. Fasten every fastiner so that the fairing is in it's exact position.
Mark and drill with the closest fitting hole saw. Do not attempt while on the bike. Debur.
Install the Slider.
Install the fairing.
